As I sit here on this cloudy cold day which followed one of the most beautiful days this Fall, it has me thinking about change. Change is something that is ever present in our lives and in most cases something that is out of our control. The weather changes, the people in our lives change, our health changes, our family grows, our environment changes, and so on and so on. I personally love change, I embrace it, I treat it as a new and fun adventure...however some times change is scary and it's these scary changes that always produce the best outcomes. When we do things that are scary it usually means it is something we should be doing and when all it said and done our lives will be more enriched because of the 'scary' change. So, this Autumn as the leaves change colors, the plants and trees go to sleep, and our daily activities change I challenge you to take on these and all the changes in your life with love and excitement. Look at each change as a chance to create a life 1 step closer to your most full filled and happy life. Even changes that may seem negative at the time, such as losing a job or getting sick, are all good and meant to be. It is hard to understand when you are in the midst of a scary change that things will all work out in the end, but believe me they will...you just need to keep on believing it! When seemingly negative things occur in your life, they open up doors to new opportunities if you are willing to keep an open mind and a positive spirit. That job you lost was probably not your dream job and now you are forced to search out that dream job where as before you may not have even thought about looking for a new job. That sickness you came down with is an opportunity for you to slow down and rest for a few days...to cleanse and start anew. Everything in life is attitude...it's not what happens to you that creates your life, it is how you deal with every situation!
Happy Weekend Friends!

Change
Wonderful post!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to embrace change. I'm stuck somewhere in between fear and excitement of the unknown. Positive changes are a lot easier to embrace, but I've been struggling to believe that the negative is happening for a reason and that it will all work out in the end. Your post came at the perfect time for me. Thank you!
ReplyDeletelove this. the last line of your post reminds me of Aldous Huxley's quote, "Experience is not what happens to you. It's what you do with what happens to you." One of my favorite quotes and so true. walk your path!
