Sustainable Living Fair 2011

The Sustainable Living Fair in Fort Collins CO is an event we have been attending since we arrived in the area over 6 years ago.  After attending the fair and loving everything about it, we decided to sponsor the fair and vend our sustainable products.  This year was our second year to work the fair and it is honestly the most fun working I have ever had!  The energy, vibe, excitement, and entire atmosphere is inspiring.  Thousands of people gathered in a field transformed into an amazing event made to celebrate, educate, and inspire living sustainably!
Here is the HMM booth!  We talked to so many wonderful people during the weekend!
The kids are painting on wood that was heading to the landfill
And of course, you've got to have some face painting!
Here, Magnolia is making a hula hoop out of recycled tubing and fabric scraps (a great idea for a birthday party craft, don't ya think!)
The kids are making a habitat for some worms
We are so luck to have the Worm Man in our area and he attends many local events.  The kids made a can of worms and we will add the worms to our compost pile here.  There was a lot of compost education going on!

Here are a few links to blog posts from years past after attending the event
