Our Green Business Choices

One question we get asked a lot is, "What does it mean to be a Green Business?" We do many things to make sure our business has as little impact on the environment as possible. In this video we discuss some of the actions that Hip Mountain Mama has taken to be more green and environmentally friendly.


Obviously our natural, organic, reusable, and eco-friendly products are green but our business practices and shipping methods are good for the Earth too. We search out eco-friendly products, purchase wind power for our home and business, buy only recycled paper, print all of our packing slips on half sheets of paper, reuse boxes and shipping materials that we collect from other businesses, and work to spread the message so other businesses can discover ways to go green.

We are currently working with four local businesses to collect the cardboard boxes and packing materials that they receive from their suppliers. We then reuse those packaging materials which saves them from going to the landfill. It is our hope that our customers then reuse the materials again and again.
