Who doesn't love a good journal? Writing notes, songs, drawings, poems, or just doodling. My kids are the big journal writers around here. In fact, it is one of our tactics to getting them out on the trail with us. They get their own personal journal, a pencil, and free range to do what they please with them. They usually stop along the trail to draw what they see or at the end of the hike my older daughter will write a story about the hike and my younger will scribble pretending to write a story. My husband wrote a blog post about how effective giving kids journals while in nature can be on his blog, Kids Loving Nature.
With our kids love of journalling, we wanted to make sure to get them the most eco friendly choice on the market. We discovered Ecosystem journals and it was an instant fit! Ecosystem journals are made with 100% recycled paper, in the USA, chlorine free, acid free, 100% water-based dyes & adhesives and soy ink. Not only are they eco friendly, but the colors are wonderful! My girls love the bright colors and that they each get to use one in their favorite color!
Ecosystem has every style of journal you could ever want including daily planners. If you are interested in trying out an ecosystem journal, please visit their website and have a look.

wow i was really hooked on moleskins for a long time, but i like these bright books better! i especially enjoy the "lost and found" section for your books!
joined on facebook, love the article of recycling old planners and journals for new ones... i have always wondered what a good way to get rid of those memories in a good way!
i visited the twitter website.. unfortunately i really do not understand twitter enough to comprehend who is posting what on there... is there a tutorial? there are some great links on there to keep you "fresh" with how to be a more modern "recycler", i love that!
Visited the site! What a great way to log our adventures on our expedition! Great colors and great for the environment. Plus you can pick the design on the inside :-)
Wow, thanks for pointing me towards ecosystem and their notebooks/journals. I'm now a moleskin convert! Visited their site, and they even have grid paper!!! Sweet!
I also like them on facebook. Even if I don't win one, I see one in my near future. How amazing is it that you can customize your own journal? I'd tweet it too, but I don't tweet. These are amazing journals, again, thanks!
Love Ecosystem journals/blank books and a girl can never have too many ;) So sweet the way you are encouraging/embrassing your girls with their journals. Today my favorite is the Large, hard cover ARTIST in clementine or kiwi...would be just lovely for my summer travels and art journaling. Thanks for a great giveaway.
