Merrell: Sponsor Review & Giveaway



We are so excited to bring Merrell on board as one of our new sponsors. If you live in Colorado, or any other outdoor active area, you have probably heard of Merrell. I first starting wearing Merrell hiking shoes when I moved back to Colorado in 1999 and haven't stopped since. My kids have even been lucky to own a pair or 2 of Merrell shoes in their short little lives.

The Hip Mountain Mama family is passionate about getting outdoors. We have a rule in our home that everyone must get outside every day. Getting outside for us includes hiking, camping, snow shoeing, snow boarding, sledding, hanging out in rivers, or just simply playing. A lot of these activities require proper gear and we have found Merrell to be top notch when it comes to summer and winter outdoor footwear and clothing.
Last week we were graced with some below 0 temps, but we headed outside anyway. I threw on my Merrell Isodore down coat and my Merrell Tempest High boots and headed out to play.



I have to say, even at -4 degrees out, I was really warm in my Merrell gear. My kids were all running back in the house, but I was so comfortable I stayed out a bit longer to play with the dog. Being able to stay warm outside in the Winter is very important to me and it makes sense to have high quality items that are going to help me achieve my goal of getting outside every day. Getting outdoors helps me to feel better, increase my energy, helps me get exercise, and helps to keep me balanced.
