Truthful Tuesday: A Full Sink

Sparked by my last week's post "Let's Get Real" Eileen emailed me and suggested we start a Truthful Tuesday.  This is a day for anyone who wants to participate to post the not so pretty side of their lives.  Maybe it's a photo of a messy kitchen or pile of laundry, a regretful mommy moment, or simply a post on your not so happy thoughts.  We love reading blogs and getting inspiration from every one, but it's the real and ugly moments that really connect us! 


I am going to start off my Truthful Tuesday with a simple photo.  We work hard and play hard, so often times, things like the dishes don't get done as often as they should!  If you stopped by the house unannounced you would usually find our kitchen sink filled with dishes!

  2. I love this idea. Sometimes I don't feel like people want to hear the bad and ugly along with the good of being a mom and unschooler. Sometimes I write about the crazy, but I like the idea of sharing some of the not so happy moments in my life. I'm in on this one. And my sink looks like that most nights too unfortunately.

  4. We have that very same frog bowl. And, it's currently sitting in a pile of DIRTY dishes, too! LOL. Love this.

    Thank you thank you thank you!!! I really hope this catches on! My mama friends and I have been talking about how sometimes our favorite inspiring mama blogs are hard to believe or make us feel a little less than adequate. How do these mamas have such perfect lives? How do they do it all? Do they have a secret team of assistants helping them? What gives?!
