One Small Change: Reusable To Go Ware Utensils

We started using our To Go Ware Tiffins a few months ago and I find myself using it on an almost daily basis. It is so awesome for taking lunch or snacks with us when we are on the go (which is quite often). Before our recent camping trip, I thought it would be a good idea if we all had our own set of To Go Ware utensils to use on the trip....then I thought, this would be a great One Small Change!



We each picked our own holder color (the kids each picked pink so we just wrote their initials on the back) and packed them up with the rest of our camping gear. These were a huge hit on the trip. Whenever we needed a spoon, fork, or knife, we just grabbed it out of our holder, used it, washed it off, then put it back in the holder.



This is such a great way for us to resist the temptation of using plastic disposable utensils. We plan to use these on all of our outdoor excursions this summer and even bring them with us if we happen to be going somewhere that may not offer reusable utensils (potlucks, restaurants, etc.).



I really hope this catches on, as it really is a small change that can eliminate a huge amount of waste from going to the land fill!
