Or in this case, my sister's backyard. Have you ever lived somewhere for a long time and then stumbled upon an area you didn't even know existed, but that really took your breath away? This is what happened to me last week.
We had family visiting from out of town and spent some time hanging out at my sister's house in the next town over. I have been to my sister's house many times before, but on this occasion she took us all for a walk right out her back door, and I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. For some reason I felt like I was in a different country and had a hard time describing how this beauty made me feel. The scenery was perfect, like out of a movie, and I truly felt inspired to do some more exploring around this area to hopefully discover more breathtaking areas!

I hope to share with you more of these small and grandiose adventures over the next few months...and hope you will share with me also!

Beautiful! I'm experiencing this now as we prepare to move from Indiana to North Carolina ... I'm noticing more lovelies here that I hadn't noticed before, and with it a sense of nostalgia (already!).
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs! We just found, after 10 years, a natural spring only 15 minutes from the house (by car). They give glass bottom boat tours and everything. Who knew?!
