She woke up to a bedroom full of balloons and a kitchen table full of practical 6 year old presents. Her Mama surprised her with gluten, dairy, and soy free cinnamon doughnuts for breakfast along with a fruit smoothie. Mama will also surprise her at school this morning with some homemade cupcakes to share with her friends and will celebrate with all her friends for a house party tomorrow evening.
My 6 year old is a bright, sweet, kind, peace loving, ultra sensitive child. She wears her heart on her sleeve, cries at the drop of a hat, and worries about things 6 year olds should not be worrying about. Do I worry about her? Absolutely! But, I also know that she will do great things and will spread love and kindness to everyone she comes in contact with.
