Earth Day Fun!

We have had so much fun leading up to Earth Day this year. With our One Small Change Challenge, huge Earth Day Sale, and video making we have had a lot to keep us busy. On Earth Day we decided to take the afternoon off and take the kids to a small Earth Day Celebration in a neighboring town.

The kids enjoyed painting on re purposed material, planting an herb garden, hanging out with the Worm Man (yes, we have a worm man around here), and dancing to some local music.

It was a great day to get out and enjoy the day with other community members and remember the reason we are celebrating!

Please try to make Earth Day every day and think about your actions before acting. With a little extra time and effort we can all do our part to make sure the Earth is happy...because when the Earth is sad, it can have a serious and devastating effect on human, animal, and plant life.
